For those who want to go deeper…

Welcome to my online home!

Hi! I am so happy you are visiting my home on the interweb. Welcome! Take off your shoes, make yourself comfortable. Here you will find my reflections on worship, motherhood, leadership and following Jesus . My hope is that there are golden nuggets that you find valuable, but also it’s a fun way for me to look back on all God has done in my life. I also wanted to provide a format where you can get to know me a little better, outside of the professionally written bio on my “about” page!

As of two days ago I am 34 years old, I have a 5 month old named Nico and a 2 year old named Aria. I am married to a sweet and funny Italian man named Tony. I was born into a musical family and have wanted to be in music since as long as I can remember. I have been following Jesus since 2013. I knew he was real before that, because of a supernatural encounter I had in middle school – but actually surrendering my life to him did not happen until college.

Since then, the Lord has taken me on an incredible journey. His faithfulness has been unmatched and even though so much has happened, I feel like I am just now stepping into His purpose for my life. Marriage, Ministry, Motherhood, Music…and most recently launching a Music School Orange California. It seems like everything in my life that is important starts with the letter M.

This year has been full of transitions, from having a baby, to releasing my first Christian EP “Back to Praise”, to leaving my full time staff position with Influence Church / Influence Music, and beginning my own ministry as a worship leader and founder of Awaken Music Academy(Music School Orange California) . Oh, I also gave birth to a baby. Did I mention that? So much of this change has been full of joy and awe, some of it has been deeply painful..but all of it has been marked by God. All of it has helped me to become a better and more authentic worshipper and follower of Jesus. It has solidified my reliance on him, and honestly given me a huge appreciation for the fact that we have the privilege of hearing his voice in our lives. He is so so good!

We are living in a time right now where the world is desperate – absolutely desperate for healing and purpose. The ADD and short attention spans that mark our generation have made us leave very little room for what is important in life – the things that are holy. The inconvenient truth is that holy & important things…the things that matter to the heart of God, tend to take up space.  There is no way around it. Any mother can tell you that once you have children, they are all consuming. Yet it is one of the most important and holy roles we have in this life. Marriage? It takes intentionality and work. The less space you give your relationship, the more you can bet that things will go downhill.  Yet somehow, we have convinced ourselves that we can have a healthy relationship with God by giving him very little of our time and energy.

As we gear up for the new year, I am encouraging myself (and you) to remember the things in life that are Holy – and make room for those things. I am also intentionally pouring my energy into things that will be effective for the kingdom of God. Whether its through my songwriting, training up people through awaken music academy, or serving at my local church. I want to be a surrendered vessel in the hand of God, ready and willing to do what it is He wants from me. I am convinced that the most fulfilled life on this side of heaven, is one that is lived in total collaboration with the creator himself.

1/1/26 – Thoughts on the new year!
2026! WOW. We made it guys! I want to give you a brief update on what has been going on in my world. The first very exciting thing is that I have partnered with Clay Clark and his thrive time team in launching Awaken Music Academy Music School Orange California. When Clay first approached me about starting a Music School Orange California …I am going to be honest, I had a very strong “NO!” ringing in my head. I think I always felt like “those who can’t do, teach” – even though I know that is not the case for me. I also couldn’t imagine myself sitting on a zoom all day teaching. Clay was so great at giving my husband and I time to pray and think, and we certainly did. The more that I thought about it, the more I realized that this could actually be a God thing. Spiritually, it’s an organized way for me to impart into the next generation. Even if it is not me always teaching on the call, If I am able to onboard my spirit-led talented worship leader / musician friends and facilitate a space where they are paired with a student to pour into – that is a total win! The idea of being able to provide a space at this Music School Orange California where my friends could do  what they love AND make an impact for the kingdom of God started to get me really excited. It took the whole idea from being just a Music School Orange California,  to really being a ministry – which is where my heart is at.

The other thing going on is working with an incredible church in Colorado named “Church For All Nations”.  The thing that amazes me about this church is the amount of time congregants have been planted there, and  how much they honor the pastor / leadership team. They have such a healthy structure of church government, which I have come to find out is actually super important to having a thriving local church. The bible gave us a blue print, and it honors God when we follow it! I have the privilege of flying out there once a month to lead worship and write with their team. I am also helping put together a creative conference for them in the Spring with Kim Walker-Smith and Matt Gilman. We are also writing towards an EP that will hopefully be released this fall! Woo hoo!

There are a couple other ministry opportunities that are brewing but I won’t speak on them just yet. I am praying about what to put on my plate. I keep getting this fearful tug that “you should really pace yourself, people are going to judge you for being a mom to young children and doing too much. Just stick to what you know is easy”. I know fear is not from God, so I haven’t taken that train of thought too seriously.  Today my reading was part of proverbs 31, where it says

“ She seeks wool and flax,
and works with willing hands.
14
She is like the ships of the merchant;
she brings her food from afar.
15
She rises while it is yet night
and provides food for her household
and portions for her maidens.
16
She considers a field and buys it;
with the fruit of her hands she plants a vineyard.
17
She dresses herself[e] with strength
and makes her arms strong.
18
She perceives that her merchandise is profitable.
Her lamp does not go out at night.
19
She puts her hands to the distaff,
and her hands hold the spindle.”

My point is, this was not a lazy woman! This was a woman ON THE MOVE – ready to make an impact. In 2026, this is my headspace. I am feeling fired up! LETS GOO!
